I was out on my friend’s boat this morning and this 2-year-old bald eagle stayed put until he didn’t… his launch was so powerful and close to us that I missed the outer edge of his wing. But, I don’t mind that I did, not at all!!!

Eagles and a lot of other birds are less skittish around a boat than around a person on foot. Don’t know exactly why.
