Lovely. Did I ever tell you about when I had my first batch of chicks. We were slow getting the coop finished, and I’d take them out into the backyard and sit in the grass with them, and they’d chirrup peep,peep peep. Later, when I’d taken them in, I heard the mockingbird saying “Peep, peep, peep.” Judy
What a delightful experience. They say mockingbirds don’t forget any song they learn. I wonder if your mockingbird continued to peep!
