Time for a nature break, and it is at my home. The house wrens had three chicks. This morning all three fledged out. The first one out dropped before finding its wings – its ok. Then the third one in the house helped the second one to fledge. The really sweet one is the last one out… Watch as it decides to go and then decides maybe not to go and then decides maybe it should go and… ultimately flight won the debate.

This was just lovely — especially that last little one with the indecision – you really could sense the pull on the one hand and the hesitation on the other – a great relief when the chick finally took that leap!

Hard decision to make – every time I thought it was going to take the leap it ducked back inside. My camera hand was sure glad when the youngster flew!
