Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River, July 2, 2020. Lake Level is at 216.52 ft. this morning. I thought we would spend time watching one of the other birds out here at the lake. This is a fledgling great blue heron. He’s trying to figure out how to get a fish. Take care, be safe. Stay healthy!

Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River. Saturday, June 27, 2020. The lake is just above 216 feet. I looked this morning for some of that special sandstorm from Sahara sunrise. I didn’t see anything other than our usual normal absolutely gorgeous NC Jordan Lake sunrise this morning. I will look again tomorrow morning. The ospreys were out fishing and I caught one diving.
