🦅 TWO REHABILITATED BALD EAGLES WILL BE RETURNING TO THE WILD! 🦅

There’s always something special about watching a rehabilitated bald eagle return to the wild.

This time, it’s DOUBLE the celebration.

Two bald eagles—one adult and one juvenile—have successfully completed rehabilitation at the Carolina Raptor Center in Huntersville, just north of Charlotte, and will be released back into the wild on:

🦅 Monday, August 3 (weather permitting)

🕦 Gates open at 11:30 a.m.

📍 Vista Point Boat Ramp, Jordan Lake State Recreation Area

🚫 Please leave all drones at home. Drones are not permitted at the release.

If you’ve never witnessed a bald eagle release, it is an experience you’ll never forget. Seeing one magnificent bird reclaim the skies is unforgettable. Watching two bald eagles take flight during the same release event promises to be even more memorable.
