Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River, Friday, February 26, 2021. The lake is finally dropping some which means the Haw River is dashing hard through the dam. Lake level is at 229.74 feet. The rushing river sure brought in a whole lot of great blue herons. Matter of fact, it almost looked like it was raining great blue herons there were so many of them dashing all about.
