Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River, July 2, 2020. Lake Level is at 216.52 ft. this morning. I thought we would spend time watching one of the other birds out here at the lake. This is a fledgling great blue heron. He’s trying to figure out how to get a fish. Take care, be safe. Stay healthy!

The video was a bit choppy, so it was a little difficult to see what actually happened—looked like he didn’t have much success. Hope his next try is more successful, and eventually he’s Very Good at it!
