Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River, Friday, June 26, 2020. My goodness but the sky was full of ospreys this morning. Speaking of ospreys, I just returned yesterday from a trip to the Finger Lakes and there were so many nests all with babies that we lost count. We went out to a marsh early and there were 35 Great Blue Herons fishing for breakfast. It was a national wildlife refuge and there were all kinds of birds everywhere. What a wonderful trip.
