Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River: Toothed Eagle? Pterodactyl? Oh Woe! This female bald eagle soared past me. I did a double take. I know that birds are the last of the living dinosaurs… But… This is crazy! An eagle with a beak full of teeth? In all honesty I think the “teeth” are a disruption of the form of her beak. But on the other hand, it’s kind of fun to think about maybe we still have a pterodactyl around and at Jordan Lake… I hope you are smiling with me and enjoying my flight of fantasy!
