the younger of the two eagles, the one to the left, is the one who started the ruckus
by trying to grab a fish from the 4 year old, who dropped the fish during the melee
bright taloned feet
in another moment this 4 year old eagle will lift his wings up and back and snap those taloned feet forward
to land with assured practice in a high tree
well-taloned
even when the eagle is heading downstream away from me, his well-taloned method of fishing is on display
vertical
having spotted a fish in the river, this 3 year old eagle easily flips up in the vertical and heads for the water
