Jordan Lake Dam. This morning I came to see if I can find any eagles out here on the river and lo and behold black vultures decided to investigate the trashcan about 12 feet from me. As you can see the youngster got into whatever is left inside of a plastic bag. I wish somebody had not left the bag there – I will go remove it. In the meantime here is a Natural Minute with a beautiful, and I do mean that, black vulture.

Jordan Lake: It is a glorious December morning. Late autumn and most of the leaves have come down. Looking towards the winter time. Enjoy this moment of as much tranquility as I could bring to you. Peace and grace, Doc Ellen.

Jordan Lake: This morning the jaunty little Killdeers decided to join me and you out here on the lake. They are very talkative little birds: they talk when they fly, they talk when they eat. I love the way they do their little bouncy walk as they go looking for food. Have a blessed day, stay well. Stay safe and warm.

Jordan Lake, It goes without saying, I do believe, that this is one very blustery autumn morning. Enjoy the briskness of the lake! Take care, be safe. Stay very warm.
