Jordan Lake. Early this morning, North America‘s largest rodent swam calmly into view. The beaver picked up a stick far down the shoreline, slipped back into the water with it and swam away.

Jordan Lake. They have arrived … early! These are pied-billed grebes. I usually don’t see them until mid November. They are migrants who come down and spend the winter with us before they return north to their breeding waters. I think they’re darn cute.

Jordan Lake. It was a full moon yesterday and almost still full this morning. BTW the little bird that dashed on and off the screen right at the beginning was a chimney swift. Take the gentleness of the moon with you throughout the day today. Take care, be safe. Stay well.
Jordan Lake: I found myself very much in need of some peace and tranquility this evening. Have a blessed evening.

Jordan Lake. A moment of sun ripples upon the lake … enjoy the serenity and the light. Take care, be safe. Stay well.
