Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River: Valentine’s Day 2021. Sometimes I glance away from the birds and find that the environment that is Jordan Lake has both a surprise and a delight for me with a natural message … a blessing for all of you and me too with a heart that is 100% Creator-sculpted.
A hummingbird? Perhaps a songbird, duck or bald eagle? Natural focal points for your desk or your living room wall? Please wander through https://docellentinsley.smugmug.com where you could get all your holiday shopping done. Maybe you would like to share some fine art with family and friends for the Holidays. In my gallery you can order a large variety of birds and landscapes as prints, framed wall art or desk art, or greeting cards! Thanks for your support and friendship, peace and grace, Doc Ellen

A stroll through the Jordan Dam Neighborhood: birds, butterflies and a wildflower.
I was visiting Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC, looking to photograph the fall flowers.
A butterfly bush (yes that is its name) caught my attention
as the skippers, cabbage and sulfur butterflies flitted about…
and a single, glowing, male monarch butterfly.
Oh, wow, I thought that all of them had already left for Mexico, their winter home.
