Jordan Lake, Haw River A brick wall sometimes a mirror may be if you as a child can see past the clay letting your imagination roam free

Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River. The mists above the river were no match for the Sun’s energy! A minute of just Nature’s dawning beauty. Take care, be safe. Stay well.
Jordan Lake: First morning that I have seen with the windchill getting below freezing! The air was clear and bright and cold. The wind was full of itself. The great blue heron tried for a fish and missed. Have a blessed day, take care, be well. Stay warm.
Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River: Maybe the sign should have read “danger: Vultures subject to sudden rise …”. There were 7 black vultures on the sign. One of them felt that the situation was a mite crowded and so began a domino effect!
Jordan Lake, Doc Ellen’s Evening Note: I celebrate October 31 as All Saints’ Eve. A time to remember those gone Home before me: be they family, friends, furred or feathered companions. I miss them all and visit their memories, gently, in the crispness of the autumn eventide. Take the thoughts of those you also cradle within your soul, with you into the beginning of a new month on the morrow. Peace and Grace, Doc Ellen

Jordan Lake Dam, Haw River. This morning certainly was a calm after Thursday night’s storms. I caught the last of the storm front disappearing off to the east. Have a great beginning to your weekend. Take care, be safe.
